We’re building a future legacy
A new meaning to modern, sustainable living.
About Woodhall
Woodhall will be a new community of up to 1,250 homes, with employment land and opportunities, community facilities and green spaces. It will be part of the wider Wychavon Town (formerly referred to as Worcestershire Parkway New Settlement), which will provide around 10,000 homes over the next 30 years, and will also bring transport and community infrastructure to create a new neighbourhood in Worcestershire.
The History
Woodhall was originally a 19th-century country house in a landscaped park containing model farm buildings and barns, surrounded by farmland and an orchard. The plans embrace this history, from refurbishing the remaining farm buildings for community use to maintaining and enhancing the orchard. The scheme will deliver attractive green space for the wider community, opening up space to the public for the first time.

Merton College
The Woodhall neighbourhood will be delivered by Merton College. Merton College was founded by Walter de Merton in 1264. The College has a long history of land stewardship across the country, all of which supports their wider purpose of education and research. Merton College purchased the Woodhall land in 2011.
The plans are set to deliver a neighbourhood with high quality buildings and spaces in line with both of their core values and objectives. Merton College and its delivery partners promote health and wellbeing, net carbon reduction, supporting employability and skills, and enhancing biodiversity by building well- thought-through developments for new and existing communities.
Plans for the future
The Woodhall land is situated just off Junction 7 of the M5, on land bounded by Pershore Road to the North and Church Lane to the South. Our first planning application for the employment use was submitted to Wychavon District Council in December 2025. Click here to learn more.
