Our Plans
Proud to be part of Worcestershire Parkway…
The Woodhall neighbourhood will be one part of the larger Worcestershire Parkway Settlement – a new town with a focus on providing wider infrastructure from the start.
Worcestershire Parkway is a central part of the draft South Worcestershire Development Plan, creating sustainable growth in the area and providing jobs and homes for the future. The draft Plan considers the long-term vision and objectives for South Worcestershire up to 2041, as well as containing the policies for delivering these objectives in a planned and cohesive manner. The Plan also provides policies to ensure that any development is environmentally sustainable. The draft Plan is currently scheduled to be examined by an independent Planning Inspector at Examination in Public in March 2025.
More information about the draft Plan can be found here: www.swdevelopmentplan.org and the latest updates on the plan are here: www.localplanservices.co.uk/swdpreview .
All the developers working on the Worcestershire Parkway scheme are keen to make sure that the neighbourhoods are interconnected and provide all the local amenities any residents may need. This approach will include a new Town Centre at the heart of the settlement, which will be delivered by Homes England. Across the wider development, there will be multiple new schools, medical services, a state-of-the-art sports centre, expansive playing fields, community halls, new roads and active travel routes across the whole. This infrastructure will form the foundation of a sustainable town that serves surrounding villages as well as new town residents.

…but with our own Woodhall identity
The designs for Woodhall will reflect the character of the existing barns to create a legacy for the community. The refurbished barns will become a central focus point and community hub for Woodhall and could include spaces such as a community hall and cafe’.
All the history parkland is being kept as open space, and the orginal driveway will remain as the entrance to the neighbourhood for cyclists and walkers.
The Woodhall settlement will have a host of community facilities within easy walking distance for residents, including 1 million square feet of employment land to provide jobs for the new community. The community will have its own amenities, including:
- Well managed green open spaces.
- Spaces for sports and recreation.
- A neighbourhood hub in and around the existing barns, which may include a community hall and café, grow zone, community orchard and walled garden.
- A primary school.
- Active travel (walking or cycling) routes to Worcestershire Parkway railway station, Norton and the new Town Centres.
Plans are being finalised, but the vision for Woodhall is to ensure that the character of the area is respected and curated to provide the base for a thriving, sustainable new neighbourhood, listening to the local community when shaping the vision for the Woodhall.
